Make an Offer Once we find a house that you like you’ll make and offer and this is where our job as Realtors becomes very important. Home values are very subjective and as the buyer you will benefit from our negotiating skills as we reach a deal for the best price. At this point it’s also important to have that Letter of pre-approval because it will let the seller’s agent know that you are a serious, qualified buyer and that your offer is worth their acceptance. Remember that when a seller accepts an offer, he’s taking a HUGE risk because he’s pulling his home off the market and going into escrow. If it turns out that the buyer can’t get the loan, then the seller has to put his home back on the market and he’s lost all the potential buyers who might have wanted to buy the home while it was in the shaky escrow. Once the seller accepts your offer, escrow opens. |
